They suit our art to perfection", the late Walter Moorcroft was once heard to remark. He was referring to grapes which have featured in Moorcroft designs for well over a hundred years.

The Number 19 Collection is a celebration of a quarter of a century of the Moorcroft Collectors’ Club, and perhaps not surprisingly, designer Vicky Lovatt, reached back to the first year of its existence to embrace the grapes theme once more.

The result is The Grapevine Ewer, showing rich bunches of ripe, burgundy and dark blue grapes hanging on a vine where the leaves are turning golden brown in anticipation of autumn and an imminent harvest.
