Dante is from a new fabric made and designed by Steiff. The mohair material is a work of art in itself. It has a short pile which is dyed using an ancient Indonesian 'batik' technique. Looked at closely there are tinges of brown and green. He has a classical look but is yet somehow modern.

Dante has a shaved muzzle, sparkling black eyes, antiqued paw pads and hand stitched nose and claws. His head is loosley jointed so he can be posed to look in many different directions. Around his neck he is wearing a patinated bell on rope.

5-way jointed with Safety Eyes and stuffed with Safety Filling, and with gold-plated "Button in Ear" with growler and Surface Washable.
