The dove is a highly symbolic creature: in the first Book of Moses, the bird of peace tells of the end of the flood - in the Gospel according to Mark, it embodies the Holy Spirit.

Which means that the dove fits extremely well with the Christmas season - a time when people think of one another and maybe even find a little more time for each other. As the Christmas song goes: "Peace on earth, goodwill to men...".

The dove from our Christmas collection is a limited edition of 1,500. Measuring 9 cm, her decorative plumage is made of wool-white wool felt. Standing securely on elaborately crafted metal feet, the gentle curve of her tail feathers show that she has just arrived in her new nest.
