Rupert Made in Brown is a rare thing and the story is a Colourist in the Rupert annual assumed bears were brown and so they went to print until it was noticed he was not Rupert white and they were recalled from the stockist but several were sold or not returned and these annuals make good money so steiff has made a small ltd edition of the rare Brown Rupert.
